About Me

皆様こんにちは、トマーです。ドイツ、イタリア、メキシコ、タイ、そしてインド。世界各地を巡る旅を経て、現在は鎌倉に住んで7年目になります。異なる文化の中で生活し、言葉の壁を越えて意思疎通を図ることの難しさ、そしてその先にある楽しさを、私は身をもって感じています。日本に来てから英語講師として6年、そしてヨガインストラクターとしては20年以上、「教える」という事に携わってきました。私のレッスンではいつも生徒の皆さんがリラックスして、等身大の自分でいられる「軽やかで心地よい雰囲気」を大切にしています。私の英会話レッスンは、ほぼ英語のみで行います。英語はとにかく話すこと。私が一番大事にしているのは、生徒さんがどんな場面でも緊張せずにハッピーな気持ちで、自信を持って自分を表現できるようサポートすることです。趣味は音楽作り。時々東京でDJをしたりもしています。日本の好きな食べ物はもちろん寿司！鎌倉でのプライベートレッスンで、皆さんにお会いできるのを楽しみにしています。Hi, I’m Tomer (Toma). I have lived in Kamakura for 7 years, following a journey living in Germany, Italy, Mexico, Thailand, and India. I know what it’s like to live and communicate across different cultures.With 6 years of English teaching and over 20 years as a yoga instructor, I specialize in creating a relaxed, lighthearted environment for my students. I believe that the key to learning is to start speaking. My lessons are conducted almost entirely in English.Outside of teaching, I love making music and playing as a DJ in Tokyo. And of course, having my favorite Japanese food, sushi. I look forward to meeting you all for private lessons here in Kamakura.
